Notice From CalMac Ferries

CalMac Ferries

As a result of the introduction of the Essential Lifeline Timetable and to help minimise contact between our staff and passengers the Tiree Terminal will now operate the following hours:

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10:00 to 12:00 i.e. limited to one hour before ferry arrival and a half hour after it leaves.

The terminal will be shut at all other times and also if a sailing is cancelled.

This will be for an initial period of three weeks.

During this time please try to make all queries by phone rather than coming into the terminal in person.

While we are open on sailing days only one customer at a time will be allowed in the terminal to purchase tickets.

Unfortunately to stop groups gathering the terminal cannot be used as a waiting room during this time.

We would request that purchases are made with card payments only to minimise the handling of cash.

If you are travelling with a vehicle please stay in your vehicle and we will collect your tickets and passenger registration details from you.

As stated by the Scottish Parliament only essential travel is permitted.  The Scottish Government has also stated that anybody that has already travelled here already as a tourist/non-resident/second home owner that they should be allowed to return to their main home/residence.  Please adhere to this.

If you do travel for the likes of a hospital appointment please take proof or residency with you to make your return journey easier.

Thanks

All at the Tiree CalMac Office
