We’re delighted to see that Kerry has officially received her registration and started up her Childminding Business in Tiree, she’s put a huge amount of work to get to this stage and although it doesn’t completely solve the childcare problem on the island, it goes a long way to helping some families with their working life.
We are continuing to explore what a wider solution could be to help more families struggling to find the support they need, and are working with the Care and Learning Alliance and Argyll and Bute Council to figure out what this could look like. In the meantime, we wish Kerry every success in her new venture! What a beautiful playroom!
