HELP NEEDED SEWING SCRUBS
Anyone out there who’s a dab hand with a sewing machine and would like to help sewing scrubs for our doctors, nurses and volunteers? We are going to need about 30 sets so the more people willing to help the better.
So far, I have six sets of simple paper patterns for the tops. Two each of three different sizes.
I’m going to draft trouser patterns today.
They can be made out of cotton or polycotton. Old duvet covers or sheets are fine as long as they are not too thin and worn. But if you need cloth, I have lots. Flowery or “ethnic” for a hippy look. Or blue striped for an alternative jailbird look!
Scrubs need to be comfortable and able to withstand a lot of hot washes but they don’t need to be haute couture! Right now, done is better than perfect!
