TIREE MEDICAL PRACTICE FLU CLINICS 2020
We will be holding drive through flu clinics in a tent outside the surgery on the following dates-
TUESDAY 6th OCTOBER 2020 12-4PM
THURSDAY 8TH OCTOBER 2020 12-4PM
Unfortunately at this present time we are only able to offer this service for patients who are permanently registered with Tiree Medical Practice and are in the following groups-
Aged 65 and over
Or 18-64 in an at risk group as below :
Asthma/COPD
Diabetes
Heart disease
Kidney disease
Liver disease
Immunosuppressed
Severe obesity
PLEASE NOTE -Clinics for the other age groups
Age 55-64 and children 2-5 year olds will be done at a later date as we do not have all our vaccine stock.
We will notify you of the dates for the other age groups as soon as we have more flu vaccines in stock.
To help us and to protect the most vulnerable please do not come to these initial clinics if you are not over 65 or under 65 and in an at risk group.
Please do not park in the surgery car park. Please remain in your car in queue alongside tent.
The vaccination is being held under canvas to give the most social distancing possible. In the event of very poor weather, we may need to relocate to An Talla. If this happens, there will be notices at the turning for the surgery and outside An Talla. There will be a single file system through the building and you will be asked to head off as soon as you have been given your vaccine.
Please note that the District nurse’s will still vaccinate housebound patients.
