Mark Walker Armstrong 1968 – 2016
It is with great sadness that we report the death of Mark Armstrong of Balemartine, Isle of Tiree, who passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday 17th December following a brave battle with cancer. Mark served as a director of Tiree Community Development Trust from 2011 until 2013 and his dry wit and straight talking were greatly missed following his resignation due to work commitments as Cafe Proprietor, Crofter and Delivery Driver. Mark also served as Chair of the School PTA and in recent years had won some serious accolades for showing Highland Cows. Our thoughts are with Mark’s wife Fiona and all the family.
