As you know, there was a period over the winter 2023-24 where she was not turning. That has had an impact on the Trust’s revenue this year, but the good news is that she is once again operational – although she is not generating at 100%.
Tilley is currently generating at 60% power. This is a fairly standard level of generation during calmer summer weather, and Enercon are due to make a final fix in September or October.
Tilley recently had a short period of downtime for regular blade maintenance which went smoothly. Tilley will be off from 0830 on the 17th July for a monthly test run, and should be back on in the afternoon.
The Windfall Fund has reopened for community projects, and you can find out more here.
