As part of the Climate Adaptation Project in Tiree, the Tiree Community Development Trust is looking for lobster creels to support dune stabilisation and coastal protection work.
Creels will be reused as practical, low-impact measures to help reduce erosion and strengthen vulnerable dune systems.
We would be incredibly grateful for any donations of old, unused, or damaged lobster creels, or for any tips about washed-up creels that may be available for collection.
Creels can be collected by arrangement, with locations provided via an address, a screenshot of your location on your phone’s map app, coordinates, the What3Words app, or whatever works best for you!
