Over 50 children and young people attended the variety of workshops which were on offer during this year’s Youth Work Week.  Artists Collette Rayner and Joanna Monks came 1over from Glasgow to run a selection of workshops, which included the under 5s making a ‘paper hug’, primary aged children learning different printing techniques, and high school pupils making a futuristic T-shirt. All those who took part in these workshops thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and were keen for Collette and3 Joanna to return in the future.

Older pupils took part in a fantastic animation workshop run by Jack Lockhart.  The group worked with clay to make their models before turning them into a short animation.  Again, all those who took part loved the experience.  Tiree Trust would like to thank Jack, Collette, and Joanna for their input and expertise and we hope we can work with them again at a later date.
