On Friday 18th of July Crossapol beach was transformed into an arena of Commonwealth themed sporting events. Teams circulated around the different stations competing against each other. Each team played games of beach football, volley ball, archery competitions and Will’s fantastic team races. The youth teams also completed running races and a toss the wellie contest. We received 50% funding from CnaG to employ a student who is currently in Gaelic education to work with us for 10 weeks during the summer term time.
