Notice from Tiree Parish Church

Tiree Parish Church

In line with Government Guidelines the church building at Heylipol is closed for worship. Whilst worship cannot take place physically as a group the congregation continue to worship in spirit. We are not as someone said, engaging in social distancing but physical distancing whilst retaining social connections. Whilst the church is closed, Elders will continue to maintain contact with our members via telephone and all will continue to remember in prayer all those who are affected by this unprecedented situation.

Those with access to digital media can engage in worship with one of the many online services now being offered and a list of those available can be found at https://www.churchofscotland.org.uk/worship/services-online Digital media is not available to all and a possible alternative is television. The Church of Scotland are apparently negotiating with the television companies and are seeking to have a Sunday Morning service televised each week.

The services and support of the church is open to all and not just its members. If you feel you would like to speak to someone please email DAllan@churchofscotland.org.uk in the first instance.

Once this crisis is over, and it is safe to do so, Tiree Parish Church will resume its services and be open to all.
