The community in Tiree is at the forefront of all of our work and involves community engagement at many levels. Most recently a community consultation event took place in order to inform our new Community Development Plan.
Local Project Delivery | Lìbhrigeadh Pròisect Ionadail
There are many projects that the Trust undertake for the benefit of the community. This includes the construction of our wind turbine, regeneration of two harbours, the construction of a community filling station and many more.
Sustainable Regeneration | Ath-Nuadhachadh
Our main activities include encouraging population growth, tackling climate change, supporting skill development as well as sharing best practice and experience with other similar groups and organisations.

The Tiree Community Development Trust was formed in March 2006 and is owned, and managed by Tiree’s community. It represents a community led approach to rural development promoting the sustainable, environmental and economic and social development of Tiree.
