This includes looking at options to increase the amount of long term rental accommodation available as well as building new homes in Scarinish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\"><strong>We were delighted to launch the Trust&#8217;s Housing Strategy on Saturday the 9th of November.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">The event welcomed John Forbes from the Communities Housing Trust, and Chris Morgan from J M Gilbert Architects. They are both supporting us with the proposed Scarinish housing development, and gave presentations about the plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">The project is at a very early stage, and there are no guarantees that it will happen &#8211; but we are hopeful. If you missed the event, there will be lots of opportunities to give us feedback about the development in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">This strategy is only the start &#8211; and involves housing in relation to our Community Development Plan.
