As you will know Ian and Fiona will be closing the shop on Saturday 1st February. We will all miss the tremendous service they have provided to the community for over a generation.
Over the last few months the Community Shop Steering Group have continued to work with the appointed consultants to gather information and views about the feasibility of establishing a community shop on the island. A number of you attended the drop-in sessions and provided comments and views at the end of last year. Thanks to everyone for your help and co-operation with this process.
There is still a little more work to do – but a report will be presented to the community, at an open day, for consideration during March.
