The 2014 Tiree housing needs survey and Gaelic census will commence on Saturday 29th November for 3 weeks before closing on Sunday 21st December.
Come along to find out more at the survey launch which will be taking place at the annual Christmas Craft Fayre in An Talla from 12-3pm on Saturday 29th November.
Tiree Community Development Trust invite all Tiree households to take part in the surveys!
The housing survey will ask the community if there are unmet housing needs on the island and whether the current housing options we have are good enough for the future.
The Gaelic census will help us to understand how Gaelic is being used on Tiree and where help is needed to sustain Gaelic culture on the island.
We want to hear from you!
Tiree Community Development Trust are also delighted to announce the appointment of Paul le Roux and Iain MacKinnon as Survey Officers. Iain and Paul will be visiting all households on Tiree in the following 3 weeks to deliver and introduce the surveys, answer any questions you might have, and provide assistance with completing the forms.
Please return completed forms before Sunday 21st December to a Survey Officer or a deposit box at:
- The Doctor’s Surgery, Baugh
- The Co-op, Scarinish
- Scarinish Post Office,
- The School Library
- or The Trust Office.
