We are pleased to report that, with help from our local MP and MSP, BT have finally resolved the issue with our fibreoptic backhaul lines which have been on order for nearly a year now. Thanks to all of our customers for their patience during this delay in our upgrade works. The additional fibre backhaul is a vital element of the upgrade. There is still further significant work to do, but we will now begin to test increased speeds across the network with a view to increasing the capacity for each subscriber to around 10Mbps.
The arrival of increased backhaul capacity will also allow us to start addressing the waiting list of households wanting to join our network.
