Earlier this month, Tiree Broadband received notification from one of its internet service providers that someone on our network was identified to be peer to peer sharing an episode of Amazon’s The Grand Tour.
Our internet service provider informed us that if there are further instances of a similar nature then they would have no choice but to terminate our internet connection. This would obviously have a significant impact on the service we can offer to the 150 households and businesses that rely on us for an internet connection.
If your Tiree Broadband service is used by friends, family, customers or a holiday home please make them aware that our subscribers rely on us for all their online needs and running businesses. This is a very serious threat to our service and we take this opportunity to remind our subscribers that you are responsible for ensuring that your internet usage is within the law.
