HMRC Self-employment Income Support Scheme

From Monday 4 May HMRC will begin contacting customers (**see note below) who may be eligible for the government’s Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS). 

The scheme will allow you to claim a taxable grant of 80% of your average monthly trading profits, paid out in a single instalment covering 3 months, and capped at £7,500 altogether. This is a temporary scheme, but it may be extended. Use the link below to see further details.

** You will need to have an on-line tax account in order to register/apply for this funding.  

Accountants will NOT be able to make this application on your behalf as you need to confirm your identity when applying. If you do not have an on-line account with HMRC, then follow this link to set it up

Once you have set up your account you will need to use this to register for the SEISS. 

HMRC will then contact you to confirm your eligibility.
