Futures Charrette – Round 2!

It is time for our second event! At our first event, we listened and noted all the feedback from our “Big Conversation” discussions which focused on some broad themes. It is now time to narrow the conversation and focus on key strategic themes that have emerged and to look at interventions that will drive population and economic growth on Tiree.

The events will kick off on Wednesday 9th March with a mini school charrette which will give us the opportunity to capture the concerns and aspirations of our young people. This will be followed by an event on Friday 11th March (12pm – 4pm) addressing themes that have emerged. We will be inviting specific stakeholders to these sessions however anyone is welcome to attend the sessions. Saturday 12th March will have one formal session in the morning and then the rest of the day will be dedicated to a drop in clinic. You will be able to view some of the socio-economic data gathered from our surveys and you will be able view some of the work our young people will be producing at their charrette.

Diarise the following dates:

  • 9 March – School Charrette
  • 11 March from 12 noon – 4pm – Community Event
