If you have Covid-19 symptoms a lateral flow test <strong>is not sufficient and you must book a PCR test.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you are unsure if you are required to self isolate, answer the quick questionnaire in the link below:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhsinform.scot\/self-help-guides\/self-help-guide-when-and-how-long-to-self-isolate-due-to-coronavirus\">https:\/\/www.nhsinform.scot\/self-help-guides\/self-help-guide-when-and-how-long-to-self-isolate-due-to-coronavirus<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In some cases you may be also asked to self isolate and book a PCR test if you have come into close contact with someone.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A close contact is defined as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone who lives in the same household as another person who has COVID-19 symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone who has had any of the following types of contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Face to face contact including being coughed on or having a face-to-face conversation within one metre.<\/li><li>Been within 2 meters of someone for one minute or longer without face-to-face contact&nbsp;<\/li><li>Been within 2 meters of someone for more than 15 minutes (either as a one-off contact, or added up together over one day)<\/li><li>A person may also be a close contact if they have travelled in the same vehicle or plane as a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Due to the increase of Covid-19 cases on Tiree it is important to stay up to date with the latest guidelines.&nbsp; The guidelines for self isolation are changing, however you MUST self isolate and book a test if you have tested positive using a lateral flow test or you have symptoms of Covid-19.
