Detailed below are successful applicants:

  • Fresh off the Croft received £500 towards attending – Accessing Crofting Toolkit course.
  • An Iodhlann received £500 towards the excavation of Cnoc an Fhuamhaire, an oval mound in Kirkapol where bones and pottery have been found.
  • Tiree Community Business received £7,010 towards the purchase of a photocopier.
  • Ishbel Campbell/Ruth MacIntosh received £240 towards Piano Grade Two Exam
  • Tiree Rural Development/Tiree Agricultural Society received £3,000 towards marquee hire for Show Day 2017.
  • Tiree Agricultural Society received £1,045.20 towards the main attraction at Show Day 2017.
  • Tiree Trust /Youth Work Tiree received £7,110 towards Youth Activities Programme 2017.
  • Tiree Trust/Tiree Ranger Service received £4,615 towards Ranger Merchandise Project.
  • Tiree Trust/Music & Culture Project received £4,102 towards a programme of community events 2017.
  • Tiree Surf Club received £467 towards attending ISA Level 1 instructor Course.
  • Tiree Music Festival received £3,000 towards the hire of toilets and showers for TMF 2017
  • Tiree Music Festival received £3,000 towards running activities for children through Eden Court workshops at TMF 2017.
  • Tiree Maritime Trust received £4,044.76 towards purchasing a safety and support boat.
  • Tiree Surf Club received £508.60 towards running a Surf Cadets course on Tiree to improve beach and water safety.
  • Tiree Association received £10,500 towards Tiree Song Book – CD project.
  • Finn MacDonald received 192.92 towards travel costs incurred participating in the Scottish Surf Championships.
  • Tiree Music Festival received £2,887.20 towards the cost of purchasing safety equipment.
  • Tiree Community Council received £3,000 towards the cost of running a Tiree Flag campaign.
  • An Iodhall received £2,470 towards the cost of purchasing display cases to be installed at Tiree Airport to house a small exhibition.
  • Tiree Community Council received £1,500 towards their running costs.
  • An Talla received £10,030 towards phase 2 of their renovation of windows and doors project.
  • Laura Kilpatrick received £220 towards travel costs for Roxy Le Roux to travel to the mainland for a Flute Grade One exam. – THIS REWARD WAS DECLINED.
  • Wild Diamond received £2,200 toward Tiree Wave Classic 2017.
  • Tiree Ranger Service received £1,890 towards the cost of ‘Early Flower Habitat and Recording of Great Yellow Bumblebees on Tiree’.
  • Tiree Fitness received £300 towards the cost of purchasing a defibrillator.
  • Ben Larg received £990 towards the cost of attending VISSLA World Junior Surfing Championships 2017.
  • Tiree Trust received £2,183 towards the cost of running a First Aid course.
  • Finn MacDonald received £70.50 towards the cost of attending UK Pro Surf Tour in Thurso.
  • Tiree Trust received £4,060 toward the cost of running a food hygiene course.
