Tiree Trust are holding an open day to celebrate our communities’ achievements over the last 4 years.
The Tiree Development plan was created in autumn 2005 and this is the opportunity to come along and see what has been achieved since the plan was created, there will also be the opportunity to put forward your views regarding the future of our island.
If any community group/business or individual wish to participate and show what they have achieved in the last 4 years please contact the Trust staff. This does not mean that you need to have a stand at the open day, you could just send along a short note and some pictures which describe your group/project/ business.

Win an iPod!!
Draw a picture or make a model that shows us your vision of Tiree’s future. The entries will be on display during the Open Day and prizes will be awarded to the best works of art. There are three categories: pre-school and primary; under 17 and adult. Use any medium – paint, sculpture, and ceramics, drawing – and lots of imagination
Scottish Power Renewables Visit
We have invited Scottish Power Renewables to attend the Open Day so that they can explain to the community in more detail their proposals regarding the investigation into possible wind farm sites off the coast of Tiree. They have already indicated that they will be pleased to come along.
More details will follow when we have them. |
